Newell man charged with indecent exposure at Rostraver shopping plaza
Charges have been filed against a Newell man for allegedly exposing himself in public on two separate occasions in Rostraver Township.
Drake Wainwright Bucci, 20, was charged with two counts each of indecent exposure and open lewdness before Magisterial District Judge Joseph Dalfonso on Monday.
The charges stem from an incident in the parking lot of the Tri County Plaza in the area of the Driver’s License Center in Rostraver Township on Oct. 24.
Rostraver Police state that Bucci parked his blue 2017 Honda Accord next to a woman’s vehicle around 1:16 p.m. and started inappropriately touching himself in full view of the woman to the point where the woman became very upset, alarmed and offended.
The woman then tapped her window, which got Bucci’s attention and caused him to pull out of the parking lot and flee the scene, police said.
At 4:21 p.m. Jan. 21, Rostraver Police investigated a similar incident of indecent exposure in the Giant Eagle parking lot in the same plaza, where a woman told police she saw a similar vehicle and similar license plate numbers.
A summons has been issued for Bucci, who’s scheduled for a preliminary hearing before Dalfonso at 9:15 a.m. March 16.
