Woman hit by vehicle in North Union Township

A woman was hit by a vehicle in the parking lot of Fayette Plaza on Pittsburgh Road Thursday afternoon.

According to a spokesperson for Fayette County 911, first responders were called to the plaza just after noon. The woman who was hit was conscious, and was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va. for treatment.

Neither her identity nor her condition have been released.

Along with Fayette EMS, fire departments from North Union Township and Uniontown, as well as state police responded.
