The Pennsylvania Game Commission and local fire departments rescued a flock of ducks from a frozen pond in Redstone Township. According to The Fayette County Emergency Management Agency, shortly before 5 p.m. Sunday a 911 caller reported ducks were frozen in a pond along Filbert Orient Road. The game commission took custody of the ducks. According to EMA, the ducks were rescued by 6:33 p.m. Also responding to the scene was the Fayette County Hazmat and Water Rescue team, Republic Fire Department, Luzerne Township Fire Department and Brownsville Fire Department.
