UNIONTOWN
Indecent assault alleged: Caleb L. Sandor, 25, of Carmichaels is charged with six counts each of indecent assault and corruption of minors, and one count of aggravated indecent assault for allegedly inappropriately touching a girl between June 2023 and June 2025. Court paperwork indicated the girl was between 12 and 13 at the time. Police said Sandor, who has not been arrested yet, refused to cooperate in the investigation.
PERRY TOWNSHIP
Assault alleged: Kaleia Lubich-Howard, 30, of Uniontown, is accused of assaulting her girlfriend, Destinee Kirby, at a home on Lemon Street in Uniontown on Sunday. Police said Kirby had injuries to her face and hand, and was complaining of an injury to the back of her head. She reportedly told police Lubich-Howard hit her in the back of the head with an unknown object. Lubich-Howard is charged with aggravated assault and simple assault. She was released on a $25,000 unsecured bond.
DONORA
Assault on officer: Curtis Anthony Arnold, 55, of Donora, was charged Tuesday by Donora police with aggravated assault, resisting arrest and simple assault. According to the criminal complaint, at about 9 p.m. Saturday police went to Arnold’s apartment in the 400 block of Thompson Avenue to serve an arrest warrant. Court records accuse Arnold of hitting an officer multiple times while resisting arrest. District Judge Mark Wilson sent Arnold to the Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.
Assault alleged: Zachary Allen Anthony, 33, of Donora, was charged Tuesday by Donora police with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment. According to the criminal complaint, at about 4:30 p.m. Sept. 19, Jessica Backus reported to police that Anthony had assaulted her earlier that morning. Court records accuse Anthony of pushing the woman and causing her to fall down a flight of stairs. Anthony also allegedly bit her forearm and kicked her in the stomach. Backus was treated for injuries at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. There is an active warrant for Anthony’s arrest.
