Fayette man accused of possessing child porn
A Farmington man is in custody on child pornography charges.
Police recovered multiple images from the phone of Gary Phares Jr., 39, as the result of an investigation last month by state police in Uniontown and the state police’s Computer Crime Unit, according to charging documents.
Phares is charged with possessing child sexual abuse material.
Judge Nathan Henning set Phares’ bond at $100,000 Friday. He was lodged in the Fayette County jail.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 26.
