A trailer was engulfed by a Tuesday night fire in Luzerne Township.

At 7:42 p.m., a call came in of a fire at the intersection of Fayette Avenue and First Street that was threatening other homes, said Fayette County Emergency Management public information officer Sue Kozak-Griffith. There were no injuries reported in the fire, but the trailer is believed to be a total loss, she said.

Firefighters cleared the scene at 8:33 p.m.
