Brownsville man accused of robbery
A Brownsville man is accused of robbing another man of a video game system.
State police said Emir M. Calloway, 23, agreed to pay $400 for a PlayStation 5 Isaac Eckley was selling on Facebook Marketplace. When the men met at a Brownsville gas station on Dec. 11 to complete the transaction, police alleged Calloway brandished a handgun, threatened to kill Eckley, and stole the white bag containing the PlayStation.
After Calloway walked away, Eckley called 911. Police said multiple surveillance cameras captured Calloway carrying a white bag back to his home on Cemetery Road. Eckley’s address not listed on the complaint.
According to the complaint, Eckley identified Calloway in a photo lineup.
Calloway is charged with robbery, aggravated assault, terroristic threats, possession of an instrument of a crime and simple assault.
