Two killed, one injured in Route 51 crash
Two people were killed Thursday when a motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed crashed into a car near Perryopolis.
The crash was reported shortly before noon on Route 51 in Perry Township near Randall’s Restaurant, a Fayette County 911 dispatcher said.
Fayette County Coroner Bob Baker said 41-year-old Frank McKulka of Grindstone was speeding on his motorcycle when he crashed into a car driven by Larry Hall, 81, of Belle Vernon. Both men died at the scene.
A passenger in Hall’s car was flown to Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, state police Trooper Kalee Barnhart said. The passenger remains in critical condition, Barnhart said.
Perry Township firefighters assisted state police at the scene.
