Uniontown man charged with sexually assaulting children

1 min read

Charges were filed against a Uniontown man in three Fayette County courts Tuesday alleging physical and sexual abusing of children over a multi-year period.

Daniel Lee Davis, 33, is accused of assaulting multiple children at locations in Uniontown and Springhill Township.

Criminal complaints filed against Davis said a Pennsylvania State Police investigation began in 2025 after one of the children alerted a parent.

Children detailed numerous incidents of sexual abuse, as well as an instance in which Davis hit one with a pan, according to the complaints.

Discharge paperwork after physical assessments of the children conducted at WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital diagnosed two of the children as having been sexually assaulted, court documents stated.

Davis faces more than 25 counts among the three cases, including rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault of a child under 13, statutory sexual assault by someone at least 11 years older, sexual assault, indecent assault, indecent exposure and corruption of minors.

He had not been arraigned as of Tuesday afternoon.
