Rescuers continue to look for a Fayette County man two days after he went missing.

Jarred Callahan was last seen on June 9 at the Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Campgrounds, 839 Mill Run Road, Springfield Township, where he is an employee.

Campground management reported Callahan, 43, of Ohiopyle, missing about 6:20 p.m. that day, the Pennsylvania State Police said in a release.

Callahan’s maintenance cart had been discovered unattended at the far side of the property. Employees searched the campground, but could not find him.

Authorities launched an exhaustive search, prompted by concern of his welfare and Callahan’s known medical issues, police said. Local fire departments performed ground and UTV searches, and the Greensburg Fire Department sent out bloodhounds. In the air, Fayette County used drones in an attempt to spot Callahan from the sky, aided by the Trooper 4 rescue helicopter.

He had not been found as of early Thursday afternoon, Trooper Kalee Barnhart said.

Callahan is described as a white man approximately 6 feet tall, weighing 170 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. Police provided a photo of him taken the day he went missing, in which he was wearing a blue polo shirt and sunglasses with blue-tinted lenses.

Anyone who knows where Callahan might be is asked to call state police Uniontown Station at 724-439-7111 and reference incident number PA26-753223.
