Man charged with shooting toward partner, child
A Connellsville man is accused of shooting a gun into the yard where his partner and a child were after an argument over housework Saturday morning.
Donald Fisch, 59, was apprehended after reportedly fleeing the scene where police responded to a report of shots fired on Rural Lane in Bullskin Township at 11:40 a.m. Saturday.
Fisch allegedly told his partner, “I am going to shoot you” during the argument, then grabbed a gun from his vehicle and fired three shots into the yard, according to his complaint.
Fisch’s partner and the 3-year-old child ran inside, while Fisch fled in his vehicle, court paperwork stated.
Police said they interviewed the child on scene, who told them, “Pappy shot at us.”
Fisch corroborated his partner’s account after police caught him, the complaint said.
He is charged with aggravated assault of a victim under 13, endangering welfare of children, recklessly endangering another person, simple assault and harassment.
Judge Richard Kasunic denied Fisch bail on the grounds that Fisch posed a threat to the victims.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 18.
