Pa Grange offering scholarship opportunities
The Pennsylvania State Grange and Grange Foundation are offering scholarship opportunities to post-secondary students.
The Pennsylvania State Grange Foundation Scholarship is available to all students, regardless of grange membership, entering their junior or senior year of college. Up to four, $500 scholarships will be awarded based on merit and commitment.
Deaf Interpreter Scholarship will be awarded to those enrolled in a credible program leading to certification as an interpreter for the deaf. The award is $250.
The Grange Scholarship Endowment at Penn State University recognizes the outstanding work of an undergraduate student enrolled in at least their sophomore year at any campus of Pennsylvania State University and demonstrates financial need. The scholarship is $1,500 for one academic year, and may be renewed for subsequent years providing the recipient continues to meet the conditions of eligibility and no other eligible students are identified.
The Rhone Grant is given in honor of Leonard Rhone, a former president of the Pennsylvania State Grange. The grant is available to students pursuing a degree in agriculture or human development and family services at Penn State University. One $300 scholarship will be available each year. Eligible candidates must be a member of good standing and must include letters of recommendation from two local grange officers.
