Jefferson-Morgan High School to graduate 58
Jefferson-Morgan High School will hold its commencement on Thursday, May 28, at 7 p.m. at the Stanley Fowler Auditorium, with 58 students graduating.
Valedictorian is Joseph Bair, son of Erica Chidester and LJ Stickovich, and John Bair and Carrie Waters.
He will attend Penn State Behrend to study mechanical engineering.
Joseph is a member of the baseball team and the golf team. He is a member of SADD, Leo Club, Gifted and Talented Education (GATE), science club, Envirothon, and student council. He serves as vice president of the National Honor Society and is a member of the Penn State 4.0 Club. He is a member of Boy Scout Troop 1168 where he has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, and is a member of the Order of the Arrow.
Salutatorian is Addalynne Morrison. She is the daughter of Brittany and Erik Morrison of Jefferson.
Addalynne is a varsity cheerleader. She is vice president of her class, and a member of the drama club, Leo Club, SADD, National Honor Society, academic team and science club. She is a member of the Penn State 4.0 Club.
Addalynn will attend Duquesne University to study health sciences, and hopes to become a pediatric oncologist.
