Washington County man charged in July assault
A third person has been arrested in connection with an alleged assault against a woman in Uniontown in July.
Jonathan Godines, 19, of Denbo, is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and disorderly conduct.
According to his criminal complaint, Godines was one of three people who attacked Custer after pulling up to a house on Locust Street shortly before 6 p.m. July 27.
Police said Godines and the two others — Ryan Miciotto, 34, of Uniontown and Angelina Lawver, 34, of Hopwood — took turns hitting Lindsay Custer with a tire iron, and also punched and kicked her. Court documents describe Miciotto as Custer’s boyfriend.
Lawver and Miciotto were taken into custody shortly after police arrived on the scene. Both face the same charges as Godines, with additional conspiracy charges. Miciotto is also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Godines was arraigned before Judge Jason Cox Tuesday morning. He was lodged in the county jail after being unable to post $20,000 bail.
Godines is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Oct. 19.
Initially denied bail, Lawver and Miciotto posted $60,000 surety bonds after a bail hearing in August. They will have preliminary hearings Sept. 29.
