Kathy L. Lawson, 69, of Cardale, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Wednesday, July 30, 2025, with her loving family at her side.
Kathy served her Lord with faithfulness and joy all her life working for the Lord and church, most recently as church administrator at Fresh Fire Church in Uniontown, where she also served in leadership and was a member. Her love of music, worship and the Word of God kept her faith strong in the darkest of moments of her life.
Her greatest joys in life included her grandchildren and great- grandchild, Steelers football and serving and working for her Lord.
Preceding Kathy in death was her mother and father, Earl and Catherine Savage of McHenry, Md.; her brother, Lanny Savage of Mount Airy, Md.; and brother-in-law, Neil Henline of Brunswick, Ohio. Also preceding Kathy in death were her two twin boys, Jason and Mark Lawson Jr.
She is survived by sisters, Donna Wagner (Dale) of Oakland, Md., and Connie Henline of Brunswick; and sister- in-law, Judy Savage of Mount Airy; and many nieces and nephews.
Surviving are her children: Carrie (Mickey) Frantz and stepgrandchildren, Hunter and Hannah Frantz of Canonsburg; and son, Adam Lawson of Uniontown; grandchildren, Brooke, Dakota and McKenzie Lawson; and great-grandson, Warren Lawson, all of Dallas, Texas. Also surviving to cherish her memory is her partner, Rick Joseph, who brought such joy and laughter to her life.
Arrangements are under the direction of the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood.
Friends will be received from 10:30 a.m. until 12 noon, when memorial services will be held Saturday, August 2, in Fresh Fire Church, 171 Connellsville Street, Uniontown, officiated by Pastor Donny Hinkle.
