James J. “Jack” Conner, 85, of East Millsboro, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025.
He was born January 17, 1940, in Brownsville, a son of the late James Harvey and Nelda Grace Ebert Conner
Jack was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church in Uniontown.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Pearl Ulery, Darlene Hampton, Nancy Miller, all of Brownsville, and Delores Woodring of Ohio; one brother, Joe Conner, also of Brownsville.
Jack leaves behind his children, Jacque Dwyer, Jimmy Conner, and Cory Conner, all of Blainesburg; sister, Nelda Jean Cox and husband Donald of Jacksonville, Fla.; special nephews and caregivers, Charles E. Norman and Darlene Dreyer and David Peet; and many special nephews, nieces, and friends.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, where visitation continues from and on Thursday from 10 until the time of a funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 7, with Associate Pastor Michael McKinney officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park.
