Mary Frances Kaufman Savage, 77, of Republic, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025, in Peroni’s Personal Care Home, Uniontown. She was born in Keisterville, on May 27, 1948, a daughter of Michael and Anna Kaufman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Helen, Violet and Patricia; and a brother, Michael.

Mary was Catholic by faith and attended St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Footedale.

She is survived by her son, Michael J. Savage, Jr. and his wife, Davina; grandchildren: Sadie Savage and Ava Savage – whom she loved to the moon and back; a brother, John Kaufman and his wife, Dolores; sisters, Eleanor Wiedman and Jeanette Duda; and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Diabetes Foundation.

Mary’s family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 15, at the KISH FABRY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 19 Legion Street, Republic. Additional visitation will take place until 10 a.m., the hour of a blessing service, on Saturday. Interment will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Republic.
