James David Procratsky
Uniontown
James David Procratsky, 69, of Uniontown, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2025. He took his last breath surrounded by Jesus and the love of his family.
James was a retired coal miner from the Dilworth Coal Mine and a member of the UMWA Union. He proudly took part in the Bass Federation Tournaments and fished in many National Bass Tournaments. James was a man with a quiet soul and gentle humor. He found peace on the water with a fishing rod in hand.
James was remarkably skillful on the bass guitar. Some of his happiest moments were spent playing music, tournament fishing, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren whom he adored. Above all he cherished every moment with his caring wife who stood by his side. His gentle spirit, blue eyes, and musical heart will be forever remembered.
James was the beloved husband of Rosemarie Kupets Procratsky; loving father of Leah Eicher (Ben) and David Procratsky (Caitlin); grandfather of Hazel, Stella, Eleanor, and Louella Eicher, and baby girl Procratsky coming in the spring of 2026; loving brother of Marsha Redilla; brother-in-law to Linda Procratsky and Betty Procratsky; uncle to many nieces and nephews; and a friend to many.
James was preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Louise (Wesolowsky) Procratsky; Stanley Procratsky, Edward Procratsky, and Genevieve Goode.
