John Prokopovitch, III, 75, of Fayette City, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 7, 2025, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, with his loving family by his side. He was born February 5, 1950, in Charleroi, a son of John and Kathryn Hussar Prokopovitch.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Eric P. Prokopovitch; and sister, Kathy Lloyd.
John is survived by his children: John Prokopovitch, IV of Rostraver Township, and Michelle L. Prokopovitch of Fayette City; his granddaughters, Kathryn Barella and husband Dakota, Trinity DuVall; great-grandchildren, Kenelope and Kaiser Barella; life partner and traveling companion, Wendy Fudurich; brothers, Richard Prokopovitch and wife, Laurel, Frank Prokopovitch and wife Vicki; sister, Diane Dongelli and husband Alan; niece, Kathy Forte; nephew, Chuck Lloyd; numerous other nieces and nephews; and close friend, Kieran McVey.
In honoring John’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
John’s professional funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, Perryopolis.
