Thomas A. Cossick

Mr. Thomas A. Cossick, 88, formerly of Sheffield Lake, OH, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Hillside Manor of Uniontown.

He was born in Uniontown on October 1, 1937 a son of the late John H. and Mary Rigen Cossick.

Thomas graduated from North Union High School, class of 1955.

He served in the United States Army during the Koren War. Having served overseas and honorably discharged.

Thomas enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing.

He is survived by two brothers, Edward Cossick and wife Shirley of Hopwood, and Bruce Cossick and wife Pat of Rhode Island; numerous nieces and nephews; and close neighbors in Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings, Margaret Admik, Eva Walagura, John Cossick, and Elsie Garrow.

Visitation for Thomas will be held at the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401, on Thursday, December 18th from 5 to 8 p.m.. A liturgy of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 19th at 11 a.m. at St. John Byzantine Church, 185 E. Main St., Uniontown, PA 15401, with a panachida service at 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment is in St. John Byzantine Cemetery, Uniontown.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Cleveland Clinic Cancer Center of Avon, OH, Amedysis Hospice, and Hillside Manor of Uniontown.
