Judy Griest Rosiek, 61, of Uniontown, formerly of Brownsville, passed away Monday, July 14, 2025, with her loving family at her side. She endured many illnesses throughout her lifetime, but her suffering is no more.

Judy was born June 14, 1964, in Brownsville, a daughter of Hazel Griest Scott, who survives.

Judy was a free spirit and had a loving and compassionate soul. She loved poetry, wrote poetry, and took great pride in the fact that a few of her poems were published. She loved her family, and she loved her Lord. She also loved to sing.

In addition to her mother, Judy is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Ron Rosiek; daughters, Amber Perkins (Chris), Alisha Galley (Eric); son, Robert Perkins; grandchildren, Josie, Jonah, Wesley, Sebastian (her prince), and Weston; and great- grandchildren, Emberlynn, Everlei, and Savvy; many nieces and nephews; sisters, Hazel Crable (Gary), and Heidi Scott; sisters-in-law, Julie and Peggy; brother- in-law, Bernie; and her fur baby, Jewels.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Paul Scott; brother, Donald Griest; and her nephew, Jared Crable.

Judy was a member of the Brownsville Apostolic Church and had a great love for the late pastor, John Blystone.

Friends and family will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 17, in the GATES FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 136 N. Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown. A prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 18, in the Brownsville Apostolic Church, 70 Williams Street, Brownsville. A private interment will take place at a later date.
