Ralph “Doug” Rosenberger, 69, of Markleysburg, passed away Monday, July 21, 2025, in his home.
He was born July 26, 1955, in Erie, a son of the late Donald and Eva June Glisan Rosenberger.
In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death by his brother, Sam Rosenberger; and sister, Connie Hillery.
Doug is survived by his wife of 51 years, Denise R. Neratka Rosenberger, whom he married October 25, 1974; son, Steven Rosenberger; siblings, Larry (Jackie) Rosenberger of Ashburn, Va., Judy Landman (Lee) of Uniontown, Roger Rosenberger (Linda) of Charlotte, N.C., Jeff Rosenberger (Sandy) of Bruceton Mills, W.Va.; brother and sister-in-law, Molly Rosenberger of Uniontown, Floyd Hillery of Bruceton Mills, Bob (Lisa) Neratka of Markleysburg, and Jeff Neratka (Crystal) of Markleysburg; and he was loved by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
He attended New Life Covenant Church, Markleysburg.
Doug was the owner and operator of Rosenberger Trucking “Big Rigger” for many years, co-owner of Rosenberger Auto Sales for 42 years, and Henry Clay Township Tax Collector for 35 years.
He was a member of Fayette Lodge 228 of Free and Accepted Masons, Scottish Rite NMJ, and Syria Shriners.
Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Farmington, from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 23. Additional visitation will be held from 10 until the hour of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 24, in New Life Covenant Church, Markleysburg, with Pastor Kenneth Steele officiating. Interment will follow in Thomas Cemetery, Markleysburg.
