Uniontown

Mr. Barry W. Fearer, 79, formerly of Uniontown, passed away Monday, July 21, 2025.

He was born in Uniontown November 26, 1945, a son of the late Ernest C. and Agnes P. Fike Fearer.

Barry graduated from Uniontown High School. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from California State College and from the University of Pittsburgh.

He worked as a chemist on Neville Island.

He was a member and also a deacon at Central Christian Church of Uniontown and volunteered with Meals on Wheels.

Barry is survived by his daughter, Andria Donnelly (Tim); two sons, Jeffrey Fearer (Darcy), Gregory Fearer (Anngela); three grandchildren, Benjamin Fearer, Katie Fearer, and Lillie Fearer; his brother, Clyde Fearer (Jena); his niece, Jenny Hollingshead (Jon); and two great-nephews, Jacob, and Joshua Hollingshead. He is also survived by a cousin, Stanley (Sharon) Yanchus.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Fearer.

Visitation will be heldfrom 12 to 2 p.m., at which time the funeral service will be held, Sunday, August 3, in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, 603 N. Gallatin Avenue Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401.

Interment is in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.
