Michael Alan Durst, Sr.

Michael Alan Durst, Sr., 70, of German Township, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025, in his home. He was born September 10, 1955, in Cleveland, Ohio, a son of the late William and Catherine Caracciolo Durst.
He was predeceased by brothers, William Durst and Robert Durst; and sister, Carol Hixon.
Michael was employed as a school bus driver for S.T.A.
He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, a Jack-of-all-trades, a very handy man, and 13-year cancer survivor.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Debbbie Mae Jordan Durst; children, Michael Alan Durst II and wife Jenna, Charlene Marie Fried and husband Aaron, Jason Matthew Durst and wife Nicole, and Candi Mae Sharp and husband Joe; grandchildren, Tatum, Olivia, Delaney, Andrew, Xander, Airianna and Nikolas; and soon-to-be great-granddaughter, Amelia.
Family and friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME from 12 until the 3 p.m. hour of service in the funeral home chapel Thursday, November 6, with the Reverend Randy Byers officiating.
