Smock

Lena Angela Angelini Garcher, of Smock, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025 in WVU Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, with her children by her side. She was a daughter of Emidio and Anna Orazzi Angelini.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Edward Garcher; dear grandson, Jeffrey Garcher; and brothers and sisters.

Lena grew up in Star Junction and was a member of St. Hedwig and then St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Joseph Patrick Garcher and wife Janet, Linda Meadows and husband Kenneth, Nancy Crossett and husband Lawrence; eight grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

In honoring Lena’s wishes, a private blessing service was held Wednesday, November 12, followed by interment in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Smock.
