Bonnie L. Kalp Muccioli, 89, of Star Junction, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at her home. Born July 14, 1936, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late James and Dolores Kineer Kalp.
A resident of Star Junction for the past 70 years, Mrs. Muccioli was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis and a homemaker who later worked at the Perryopolis Auto Auction and Linden Hall. She was a member of the Sons and Daughters of Italy, Perryopolis, was very free spirited, loved to dance, especially to “Fireball” and always had a bag of candy she would take to the club. She was affectionately known as “Bonzai,” a name given to her by Kim and Corinne.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Lou and Chrissy Muccioli of Perryopolis; sister, Olive McHenry of San Diego, Calif.; two granddaughters, Stephanie Lynn Bock-Dykstra and Gina Rose Muccioli; and two great-granddaughters Lydia Dykstra and Karina Hall.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lodovico “Lud” Muccioli; brother, John Kalp; sister, Hazel Shepler; and dear cousin, Donna Macik.
A Celebration of Life will take place on November 8, 2025 at the Sons & Daughters of Italy, Perryopolis.
