Ashley Marie Eley, 25, of Fayette City, passed away peacefully Friday, October 10, 2025, surrounded by her family in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born April 20, 2000, in Monroeville, a daughter of James M. Eley and Sherri Piergrossi Eley.
She was a 2018 BVA graduate and also graduated from LBI in Uniontown as a Phlebotomist.
She was employed by Preferred Primary Care Physicians, Inc. in Uniontown.
She was a member of the Fayette City Volunteer Fire Co. holding the office of Second Lieutenant, member of the Fayette County Firefighters Association, Western Pa. Firefighters Association and the Southwestern PA Chiefs and Assistant Chiefs Association.
Ashley enjoyed going to the casino and hunting.
She is survived by her parents, James M. and Sherri Piergrossi Eley; grandfather, James Piergrossi of Fayette City; aunts, Janet Maher and husband Michael of Herbeson, Del., Debbie Parshall and husband Kelly of Belle Vernon; uncle, James Piergrossi and wife Tori of Kingsville, Md.; her cousins, Katherine O. Maher of Atlanta, Bailey K. Parshall and fiance Jake Murawski of Pittsburgh; her boyfriend, Dylan Ditmore of Hopwood; and her two faithful companions, Buster and Gunner. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was prceeded in death by her paternal grandparents, E. James Eley, Jr. and Linda Lynch Eley; and maternal grandmother, Sharon Jackson Piergrossi.
Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 13, and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, in the ELEY/McCRORY FUNERAL HOME, INC., www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 15, in the funeral home, with the Rev. Wayne Boring officiating.
Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon.
A firefighters memorial service will be held Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
