Franklin James Smith, 70, of Allison, PA passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025 in Lafayette Manor, Uniontown, PA.

He was born on April 18, 1955 in Uniontown, a son of the late Weldon James and Jennie Broadwater Smith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bernard.

He is survived by two sisters: Kathleen Jean Harn and her husband Scott of Brownsville, Karen Ann Bayne and her husband Jeffery of Grindstone; brother, Scott Smith and his wife Angie of Snowhill MD; nieces: Brandy Johnson, Jenna Bayne, Kayla Hogan; nephew, Wesley Harn.

Franklin’s family will receive friends from Noon – 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 in the KISH-FABRY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 19 Legion Street, Republic, PA where his funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. with Pastor Michael Peton, officiating. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
