Sharon L. Callahan Griffin

Sharon L. Callahan Griffin, 78, of Uniontown, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025, in Uniontown Hospital. She was born April 30, 1947, in Mather, a daughter of the late Art Callahan and Inez Shaffer Callahan.
She was a 1965 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School and a 1968 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, with a Master’s degree in Education.
She was an active member of Third Presbyterian Church, where she served as an elder and Sunday school teacher and was a member of the choir and Praise Band.
Left to cherish Sharon’s memory are her husband, Larry M. Griffin; son, Brian (Stacey) Griffin; beloved granddaughters, Lauren and Julia Griffin; and sister, Sherry Bayles.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, where the family will welcome family and friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, September 15. Visitation will continue Tuesday, September 16, from 10 until the time of a service celebrating Sharon’s life at 11 a.m. in the Third Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Patrick Ewing officiating. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
