Lucille Pochinski

Lucille Pochinski, 96, of Monarch, went home to be with her Lord Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in her residence.
She was born January 29, 1929, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Paul and Stella Conetsko Ruper.
She was a graduate of Dunbar Township High School. She was a prior member of the former St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Leisenring, and upon its closure she became a member of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Dunbar.
Lucille enjoyed playing bingo with her family and sitting on her porch watching the birds.
Throughout her life, Lucille was a loving homemaker and aunt, and she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her many beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Pochinski (2004); three brothers, John Ruper, Thomas Ruper, and Leo Ruper; sisters, Florence Saksa, Pauline Ruper, Cel Paprock, and Kathyrn Sczumal.
Family and friends will be received in the temporary location of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC., located at the Apostolic Holiness Church, 412 N. Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, PA 15425 (right next to the funeral home) Friday, September 19, from 10 until the hour of her funeral service at 1 p.m., with Pastor Dale Redick officiating.
Committal services and interment will follow in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery, Connellsville.
A special thank you to her nephew, Dennis, his wife, Diane, and their daughter, Jessica and son, Stephen, and her friend, Beverely Gibbs, for watching over and taking care of Lucille at her home in her final years.
