Marjorie Sue Blosser Weaver Clingan passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025. She was born in Uniontown, the only child of the late Mildred Blosser and Raymond Weaver.

Sue was a devoted wife and partner to her sweetheart, Rock, until his demise.

Both Rock and Sue were avid Steeler fans. She enjoyed her card club, which met monthly at each member’s house. Sue worked tirelessly alongside her husband to raise money for the church’s athletic program. Sports banquets were Sue and Rock’s niche in planning as well as the managing of it. The couple was central in selling and managing the church hoagie sales. They assisted in planning and serving lunches for families and church members who lost loved ones.

Sue spent her later years after Rock’s demise visiting shut-ins, transporting church members to doctor appointments as needed, volunteered at the church’s food bank; and served at the communion table as an elder.

Marjorie discovered a love for word puzzles as she worked on them for hours. She was also an avid hummingbird watcher by her back porch.

Her most enjoyable moments were her visits from her grandchildren as well as great- grandchildren through the growing year. Sue relished her Dairy Queen outing for Blizzards.

Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, from 9 until the hour of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 27, with Patty Roddy officiating. Interment will be held privately in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Sign Fund, P.O. Box 793, Uniontown, PA 15401.
