Very early on Holy Saturday morning, April 4, 2026, Sister Euphemia fell asleep in her Lord and was welcomed into her new home in the heavenly Kingdom. She was 98 years of age and in the 80th year of her life as a Sister of St. Basil.

Relatives and friends will be received at the Monastery Thursday, April 9, from 3:30 until the time of the Parastas Service, which will be sung at 6:30 p.m. The Funeral Divine Liturgy will be celebrated Friday, April 10 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the Dormition Section of Mount Macrina Cemetery.
