Emma Jane Coddington, 89, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully Friday, April 17, 2026. She was born January 12, 1937, in Uniontown, a daughter of the late Joseph E. Coddington and Nellie Mae Reynolds Coddington.

Emma was a former executive secretary with Rockwell International and later with Sensus. She was an avid Steelers and Penguins fan. Emma was fascinated with frogs and enjoyed collecting frog figurines. She was a very loving aunt, possessed an extremely kind nature and had a childlike joy about her at all times.

Left to cherish her memory are a niece, Hope I. Coddington of Uniontown; a nephew, William E. Coddington (Kaylyn) of Belle Vernon; great-nieces and nephews: Derek Haywood, Madison Coddington, Andrew Haywood, Rachel Haywood and Malayna Coddington; and good friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dale E. Coddington; sister-in-law, Valeria Lee Sholtis Coddington; and an infant brother.

Friends will be received in the SHELL FUNERAL HOME, INC. 164 S. Mt. Vernon Avenue, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday; and until 11 a.m. Wednesday, the hour of service, with Pastor Michael Lyons officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
