Carol Ann Wydo Wilson, 77, of Smithfield, passed away with her loving family by her side Saturday, August 1, 2026 in the Uniontown Hospital.
She was born August 17, 1948 in Uniontown.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Steve Wydo and Mary Alice Olschesky Wydo; brother, James Wydo; and husband, Sylvester Wilson, Jr.
Surviving are her daughter, Stephanie Ann Chester Bartok and husband Mark; grandchildren, whom she loved and cherished, Payton Chester and Joey Lemansky, and Maci Chester and Kasey Mahoney; stepsons, Alan and Roger Wilson and families; four nieces, Debbie Franczyk, who was like a daughter, goddaughter, Carol DuPont (Rodney), Brandi Streit (Ed), and Jamie Childs; her close friend, Frank Marolt; along with her loving cat, Honey.
Carol was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan and enjoyed watching them all the time.
The family will receive friends and family in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, and from 9 until the time of the funeral service at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 6. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Fairchance.
