Patricia Lee Hairston, 86, passed away peacefully in Mt. Macrina Nursing Home Tuesday, July 25, 2026. She was born November 7, 1939 in West Virginia, the daughter of the late Jesse Yates and the late Beatrice Yates.
Patricia graduated from Uniontown Senior High School. She later worked at the Bell Telephone Company for several years. She was a loving wife and mother.
She is survived by her children, Robin Bentley, Harold Hairston, Jr. and Heath LeMoine Hairston, Sr. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories 12 grandchildren and 19 great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hairston, Sr.; and her daughter, Tammy Simpson.
Patricia “Patty” Hairston’s viewing for family and friends will be Saturday, August 8, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., when a celebration of Patty’s life will be held, in LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, 297 E. Main Street, Uniontown.
