Dolores Jean Hixson Pike, 87, of Perryopolis, Perry Township, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026, in WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown. Born January 13, 1939 in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of the late Robert and Catherine Franco Hixson.
A resident of Perryopolis for over 69 years, Mrs. Pike was a homemaker and loved taking care of and spending time with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
She is survived by her two sons and daughters- in-law, John and Cindy Pike of Dinnwiddie, Va., Gregory and Ellen Pike of Star Junction; daughter-in-law, Diane Pike of Star Junction; two sisters, Shirley Hough of Florida, Ida Mae Denitti of Smithton; eight grandchildren, Larry Pike III, Brandy Lynn Rice, Dawn Marie Pike, Rachael Ann Pike, Josh Scott Pike, John Martin Pike, Gregory Alan Pike Jr., Justin Megan Pike; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry M. Pike Sr.; son, Larry M. Pike Jr.; three sisters, Catherine Scotmas, Gloria Hixson, Margaret Weaver; and brother, Robert Hixson.
