Noreena Jo Eckert, 61, of Uniontown, formerly of West Forest, known affectionately to her friends as “Dolly”, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 3, 2026, with her daughter, Lauren and bonus daughter, Amanda by her side.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nancy and William Bemis; a son-in-law; Steven Smith; and a canine friend, Lexi.
Dolly is survived by her daughters, Lauren McMichael, Katie Lee (Timothy), and Tara Rishel (Charlie); her grandchildren, Angelia Robinson, Drake Smith, Hallie Parrillo (Andrew), Gabriel Whitling, Isabelle Whitling, Haylee Shawgo, Hunter Shawgo, CJ Shawgo, Troy Shawgo, and Thea Shawgo; and her siblings, Kimberly Anderson (Dan), Jackie Greenlee (Dan), and Krista Tompkins (Greg). She also leaves many loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
A graduate of West Forest High School, she earned a certificate in cosmetology.
Dolly will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and her love for her family.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of a prayer service at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 7, in the GATES FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 136 N. Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown. Interment will be private.
