William R. “Bib” Tolnai, Jr., 74, of Menallen Township, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026, in his home. He was born May 7, 1951 in Uniontown, a son of William R. Sr., and Margaret Krulock Tolnai.
Bill is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn “Cookie” Mankovitch; sister, Marie “Tootsie” Bentz and husband Duane; nephews, Matt and Duane Bentz; aunt and sister-in-law, Patricia Patty Krulock; niece and cousin, Pam Springer and husband Mark; cousins, Lisa and Ron; best friend, Skip Thomas; extended family, Jody Litman and husband C.J.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bib worked as a crane operator for 50 years with Operating Engineers Local 66 Union. His favorite employer was Anthony Crane.
He was a member of Saint Mary Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church, New Salem.
Bib’s hobby was buying used cars and trucks and refurbishing them. He loved Chevy and GMCs and never found a Ford he liked.
Bib’s family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 8, in the KISH-FABRY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 20 N. Mill Street, New Salem, where a Parastas will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday. A Divine Liturgy of the Deceased will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 9, in Saint Mary Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church, New Salem, with the Very Reverend James A. Ragan as celebrant. Interment will follow in Mount Saint Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown.
