Ronald A. Jellick, 88, of Lemont Furnace, passed away on Tuesday,, February 10, 2026 at WVU Uniontown Hospital.
He was born November 30, 1937, in Mount Braddock, a son of the late Mike and Blanche Mazur Jellick.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his grandson, Joseph Monaco; eight sisters; and one brother.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Helen Morrison Jellick; children: Tim Jellick of Uniontown, Joni Monaco (Mark) of West Salem, Ohio, Tom Jellick (Deanna) of Mount Braddock and Kris Ann Martray (Keith) of Uniontown; grandchildren: Michael Jellick, Mara Welch (Johnathan), Nathan Jellick (Marissa), Mark Monaco (Marissa), Keith Martray and Jillian Martray; great-grandchildren: Allianna Jellick, Wyatt Jellick and Emmett Jellick; and brother, Robert Jellick of Mount Braddock.
Ronald worked as a truck driver for General Deliver for over 20 years. He proudly served in the Naval Air Force during the Korean War and was awarded the Purple Heart for his service and sacrifice.
He was a faithful member of Cove Run Free Methodist Church. Ronald had a great sense of humor and loved talking with people, he never met a stranger.
He loved animals and had many special pets throughout his life. In his free time, he enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, singing, and playing his guitar.
Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 12. Additional visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of the funeral service, Friday, February 13, with Pastor Travis Edgar and Pastor Roger Yeager officiating. Interment will be held in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
