Beverly Joyce Constantine
California
On February 12, 2026, the vibrant spirit of Beverly Constantine departed this world peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, love, and strength. She was born Wednesday, October 19, 1955, in Brownsville, a daughter of the late Orval Watson, Sr. and Anna Marie Evans Watson.
Beverly was a devoted mother and a remarkable nurse anesthetist, whose dedication to her patients and profession touched countless lives throughout her career.
In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Constantine Jr. (February 3, 2002); two sisters, Donna Rose and Sara Piper; and father-in-law, Richard Constantine, Sr.
Beverly and Rick settled in California, where they raised their family with warmth and encouragement. She spent many hours devoted to the United Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in California, serving as elder, board moderator, and chairing many events.
Bev loved the beach, Walt Disney World, and to sit and read a good book. She also cherished time with family, especially her grandchildren, Leyla and Charlie.
She is survived by her three beloved daughters: Danielle Knox and husband, Charles; Lisa Hajdu and husband Clint, and Julia Constantine, who will carry forward her loving spirit and values. Beverly was also a proud Gigi to her cherished granddaughter, Leyla Knox; and grandson, Charlie Knox. She is remembered fondly by her partner for the last 22 years, Lloyd Shawley. She leaves behind her brother, Orval Watson, Jr., and sister-in-law Julie Watson; mother-in- law, Annamarie Constantine; numerous nieces and nephews; Paul and Melissa Shawley and their children, all who will forever treasure the bond they shared.
