Frances Nellie Fronczek Miller, 90, of Mount Pleasant, previously of Dunbar, passed away peacefully in her home Friday, February 6, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Frances was born December 31, 1935, to John Fronczek and Mary Zelinsky Fronczek in Footedale.
She was a graduate of German Township High School.
Her life’s work was dedicated to her home and family. As a mother and grandmother, Frances, lovingly known as “Baba”, was a treasure to her family.
She was a member of St. Aloysius Church in Dunbar and then St. Pius X Church in Mt. Pleasant.
Frances is survived by her three daughters, Lisa (Bill) Hominsky, Joyce Dixon, and Paula Harnish; her grandchildren, Mary (Scott) Marra, Paul (Alicia) Martin, Olivia Dixon, Luke Dixon, Nolan Harnish, and Beth Harnish; her great- grandchildren, Henry, Josephine, and Gavin Marra; her brother, Bernard (LuAnn) Fronczek; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her loving husband and best friend of 62 years, Paul Miller; her parents; her sisters, Mary Franczyk and Ann Brado; and her son-in- law, Alex Dixon.
Frances’ family would like to thank her wonderful caregivers for their compassion and support.
Arrangements by BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar.
In accordance with Frances’ wishes, a Blessing Service and Prayers of Committal took place with the immediate family present. Fr. Tom Avila was the celebrant.
Private interment took place at Mount Auburn Cemetery, Dunbar.
Frances will be remembered for her unconditional love, gentle spirit, and quiet integrity with which she lived her life.
