Philip Joseph “Phil” Rucinski, 66, of Uniontown, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, West Virginia.
He was born in Pittsburgh on July 10, 1959, to the late Stanley and Wilma Crowley Rucinski.
Phil was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He retired from SCI Greene in 2018, where he worked as a plumbing instructor.
He married Janice Fullard on November 21, 1980.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Janice Fullard Rucinski of Uniontown; children, Amanda Palmer (Marshall) of Finleyville and Matthew Rucinski of Uniontown; grandchildren: Sarah, Lindsey and Ryker; siblings: Tom Fitzgerald (Patricia) of Export, Barb Wolff of Butler, Jim Fitzgerald (Patty) of West Mifflin and Stanley “Butch” Rucinski of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary (Beth) Cipriani and brothers-in-law, John Cipriani and Ed Wolff.
Visitation for Phil will be at the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401, from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 22. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 12 p.m. Monday, February 23.
Interment is in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
