Linda Suzanne Thomas Roberts, originally from Hopwood and currently from Georgetown, Ontario, Canada died peacefully at Extendicare Halton Hills Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the of age 76. She was born May 5, 1949, in McKeesport, to Albert and Blanche Thomas.

Linda grew up in McKeesport, but lived her pre-teen and teen years in Hopwood and graduated from North Union High School in 1967. After high school she moved to Canada and was a missionary in a children’s home, later becoming a personal support worker with the Red Cross for over 25 years.

Linda was the loving mother to Linda (David Lockhurst) and Brymer Roberts; and proud grandmother to five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is lovingly remembered by her family in the United States including her sister-in-law, Beverly Thomas (James, deceased), Albert Thomas (Cathy), Donald Thomas (Sheila), Peggy Prah (Lou, deceased), and Kathy Grimm (Douglas); and several nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her best friend, Sheila Gibson, who assisted her and provided excellent and loving care daily.

Linda was a faithful Christian, and her family finds comfort in knowing she is in heaven with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
