Shirley Lea Emme Jones, 90, of Uniontown, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026, in Uniontown Health and Rehab.
She was born September 24, 1935 in Dupont Village, Fayette County.
Shirley was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters, Stephanie (Chuck) McCormick and Tarita Burle of Uniontown, Irene (John) Roskovensky and Leo Jones Jr. of Tampa, Fla.; daughter-in-law, Debbie Jones of Defuniak Springs, Fla.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Leo Jones Sr.; son, Edgar Jones; grandson, Kyle Burle; and her parents, Edgar and Irene Emme.
Visitation will be held from 4 until the time of a funeral service at 7 p.m. Friday, January 23, in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, with Pastor Michael Peton officiating. Entombment will be private at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
