Rosemarie Irene DeCarlo Paroda, 78, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully Wednesday January 21, 2026. She was born June 20, 1947 in Torrington, Conn.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Bartholomew DeCarlo and Olive Pearl Sayers DeCarlo; husband, Kenneth Gene Paroda; and sister, Denota Marie DeCarlo Heiskell.

Rose was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed baking, working with ceramics, and the years she spent as a foster caregiver.

Left to cherish her memory are her two children, Kenneth Gene Paroda, Jr. (Kim) of Fairchance, and Kim Pegg (Ryan) of Smithfield; four grandchildren, Felicia Paroda, Kenneth Thomas Paroda, Nicholas Pegg, and Nathan Pegg; great- grandson, Waylon Paroda; sister, Evelyn DeCarlo of Uniontown; and brother, Bartholomew “Bart” DeCarlo of Wichita, Kans.

Friends will be received in the SHELL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, from 10 a.m. until the time of a blessing service at 1 p.m. Wednesday January 28, followed by interment in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Uniontown.
