David Thomas Vesely
formerly of Vanderbilt
David Thomas Vesely, 48, of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Vanderbilt, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 15, 2026, in HCA Florida Ocala Hospital, Ocala, from medical complications following foot surgery. Born February 28, 1977 in Mt. Pleasant, he was the son of Victor Vesely Jr. and Sandra E. Bennett Vesely, who survive and reside in Vanderbilt.
David was a graduate of Uniontown Area High School and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from Seton Hill University. He was the general manager at the Hampton Inn Suites Lady Lake/The Villages in Lady Lake, Fla. at the time of his passing.
In addition to his parents, David is survived by his life partner, David Litterini; sister and brother-in-law, Vicki and Barry Montgomery of Mt. Pleasant; three nephews, Spencer, Zane, Bryton Montgomery; his dog, Ralphie; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, who all loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Victor Vesely Sr. and Margaret Vesely; and maternal grandparents, Thomas and Louise Bennett.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 28, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty Street, Perryopolis, 724-736-2515, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 29, with the Rev. Michael Thomas of St. John The Baptist Roman Catholic Church officiating. Interment will take place in Bowman- Flatwoods Cemetery.
