Robert Henry Twele

Robert Henry Twele, 70, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully Friday, January 23, 2026, at the WVU Medicine – Uniontown Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Born June 6, 1955, Robert was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He proudly worked for many years as a welder with Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 354, where he was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to help others.
Robert was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 828, the Polish Club and the Continental Club. He greatly valued the friendships and community these organizations provided.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Henry John Twele; mother, Franca Tosca Twele; and brother, Edward Twele.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Brenda Kostelnik Twele; sons: Robert Twele, Jr. (Alexandra) of Boca Raton, Florida, Sean Twele and Dusty Cramer (Stephanie); daughter, Crystal Jobes (RJ) of Uniontown; his cherished grandchildren: Anthony, Logan, Ava, Olivia, Elijah and Liam; and his mother-in-law, Gloria Kostelnik.
In retirement Robert enjoyed time at Big Bear Camp, spending time with family and friends, and working on his hot rod. He was well liked by many and will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and love of family. He also dearly loved his pets, Sophia and Rocky.
Robert will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, January 30, at the GATES FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 136 N. Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown, where a prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. followed by a dinner at the Eagles Aerie 828.
