Janet L. Fike, 87, of Uniontown, PA passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. She was born June 6, 1939 in Friendsville, MD. Janet was preceded in death by her parents Oliver “Short” Fike and Opal Fike and her loving husband Ross E. Fike, Jr. of 65 years.
She is survived by her daughter Kathy (Jeffrey) McCabe of Uniontown; two grandchildren Matthew (Angela) McCabe of Stevensville, MT and Amanda (Grant) Wynia of Indianapolis, IN; and three great-grandchildren, Oliver and Otto McCabe and Colin Wynia. Her daughter and grandchildren were her pride and joy. Janet is also survived by her three sisters Elaine (Tom) Kirby, Shirley (John) Humberston, and Karen (Michael) Pascanik, all of Uniontown.
Janet completed over 25 years of service with The Bon Ton Department Store. Janet was also a long-time member of the Asbury United Methodist Church. She loved to craft, make homemade wreathes, bake, read and spend time with her family and friends.
Janet’s family wishes to thank the staff at The Addison for their wonderful care and kindness these past several years.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOWOOD (1189 National Pike, Hopwood, PA 15445) on Friday July 10 from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday July 11 from 9 to 10 a.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday July 11 at 10 a.m. at with Pastor Bryan Kelley officiating the service. Interment immediately following at Asher Glade Cemetery in Asher Glade, MD.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Salvation Army, 32 West Fayette Street, Uniontown, PA.
