Marcella H. Shuba Zimcosky

With heavy hearts, the children of Marcella H. Shuba Zimcosky, 90, of Uniontown, formerly of Footedale, announce her passing Monday, July 6, 2026, in the Uniontown Hospital.
She was born October 9, 1935 in Footedale, the daughter of the late Frank Shuba, Sr. and Stella Rudziensky Shuba.
Marcella was a lifelong member of the former St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church of Footedale, and currently a member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church of Footedale, where she actively participated in the church choir. Her voice was nothing short of majestic.
She was formerly an owner, along with her husband, William, of Bill’s Feed and Garden Center in Charleroi. She was a licensed beautician and also an excellent cook and baker, who embraced her Polish heritage.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William E. Zimcosky; brother, Frank “Bobo” Shuba; and sisters, Henrietta Kravits and Rita Shuba.
Marcella is survived by her son, Francis “Puncho” W. Zimcosky and wife Francine; her daughter, Michelle Murray and husband Terry. She was a cherished grandmother to four grandchildren: Kara, Nate, Marcelle and Malayna.
Also surviving are her sister, Regina Graziani; best friend and sister-in- law, Bernie Pecsko; sister-in-law: Rita Kutek; brother-in-law, Ted Kravits; along with many nieces and nephews.
To honor Marcella’s wishes, visitation is private for her immediate family only.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass for Marcella Saturday, July 11, at 11 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Church of Footedale. Everyone please meet at church for 11 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery of Footedale.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations, in Marcella’s name, to: Keeping the Faith Animal Shelter, 1198 Connellsville Street, Lemont Furnace, PA 15456; or to the St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Church Cemetery Fund, 101 West Church Avenue, Masontown, PA 15461.
