Anthony “Tony” Samuel DeFabbo, Jr., 76, of Uniontown, unexpectedly gained his angel wings surrounded by his immediate family Thursday, July 9, 2026 in WVU-Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born November 20, 1949 in Vestaburg, the son of the late Anthony Samuel and Anna M. Crawley DeFabbo, Sr.

Tony was a retired electrician with US Steel Irvin Works, with over 40 years of service.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and wine making. He loved entertaining and having people around, especially his family and friends. He aspired to travel to Italy, loving his Italian heritage, as his family was from Arkuata.

Besides his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his in-laws, Paul and Alice Bush; son-in-law, Eric Hull; and grandson, Dominic Hull.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years and high school sweetheart, Milica J. Bush DeFabbo; son, Paul Anthony (Doreen) DeFabbo; grandchildren, Mia Nicole Hull DeFabbo, Zachary David DeFabbo, and Cayden Anthony W; brother, Daniel DeFabbo; sister, Sherry Zellie; nieces and nephews; and his beloved puppies, Minnie Mouse and Micki Mouse DeFabbo.

Visitation will be held in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, 35 South Mill Street, New Salem, PA 15468, Wednesday, July 15, from 2 to 8 p.m., and Thursday, July 16, from 10 until the funeral service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Bryan Pavina officiating.
